Missionaries have been active in Uganda and the rest of Africa for decades, and many Ugandans are Christian. Joel, who owns the Kyamulinga School, insisted that I attend church with him one Sunday while I was at Kyamulinga to photograph the work being done there by the secular One School at a Time. He dressed me up and took me out. Here, Joel stands and greets before the service.
